As a member of the Vic Firth Drumstick Education Team, Dan provides drum lessons in his Bergen County & Northern New Jersey (Dumont) studio to students who regularly travel in from various areas of New Jersey & New York. He is also a regular on the popular Drum Radio Show with some of the most respected names in the drumming industry: Carmine Appice, Dom Famularo, Thomas Lang, Johnny Rabb, Art Verdi, Marlon Moore, and Sam Ulano. Moreover, Dan presents drum clinics in schools, and was a guest clinician/performer at the 2003 & 2004 NJ Music Educators State Conference. Having a background in psychological research, his writing sometimes veers toward the inspirational topics, and has appeared in numerous international publications:

In demand for answers, Dan has been asked over 100 different questions from drummers worldwide through and appears in Stacy Debroff's new book "Sign me Up!"

Where a drum solo is quite the norm, Dan has been performing in bands with flamenco-blues sensation, Tony Rivera, for the past two years. They've appeared at several benefits and events such as Hoboken Try Transit Festival and Spiritstock. Dan has also performed with legendary Stanley Jordan and blues great, Michael Powers in NYC.
